Description
Chromalloy is hiring two quality-inspection roles: a Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (FPI) and an Industrial X-ray Operator. The FPI inspects investment castings using fluorescent penetrant inspection, processes parts according to technique sheets, completes paperwork, and may draft techniques for Level III inspectors. The Industrial X-ray Operator interprets radiographs of metal castings and wax patterns, inspects films for flaws, and performs radiation-safety and equipment-preparation duties. Both roles require a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of quality-inspection experience, aerospace industry experience, and the FPI role requires NAS 410 Level I PT certification; casting experience is preferred. The position may require evening, weekend, or holiday work, and only U.S. persons may be considered.
