Description
DeKalb County is hiring a safety-sensitive FOG (fats, oils, and grease) inspector to inspect grease traps and food service establishments, oversee grease trap installations, enforce water and sewer ordinances, investigate illegal or excessive waste discharges, manage inspection and permit records, inspect waste haulers, and testify in court. The role also reviews plans, calculates trap sizes and fees, maintains a specialized inspection database, prepares regulatory reports, and requires a valid Georgia driver's license plus relevant engineering, chemistry, biology, or water/wastewater education and experience.
