Description
The Food Service Worker prepares facility meals according to pre-planned menus and client needs, maintains kitchen equipment and a safe, clean, sanitary work area, tracks kitchen tools, prepares food for special functions and visitors, and assists clients in learning safe food-handling practices. The role is full-time at the Texas Civil Commitment Center in Littlefield, Texas, pays $14.50 per hour, and includes medical, vision, dental, prescription drug, retirement, leave, and other benefits. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, six months of food-service preparation experience, a valid food handler’s certificate, Texas driver’s license, and must be at least 18 years old.
