Description
The Food Safety Specialist supports the execution and continuous improvement of food safety and quality programs in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include coordinating microbiological sampling, environmental and air monitoring, water testing, lab submissions, validations, audits, CAPA follow-up, investigations, risk assessments, and related training and projects. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field, Microsoft Office proficiency, leadership and communication skills, and availability for night and weekend shifts. The stated salary is $75,000 to $85,000 plus bonus and benefits.
