Description
OCCDA is hiring a Food Services Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations, food safety, regulatory compliance, CACFP grant administration, documentation, reporting, training, and coordination of food service across its kitchens. The role supports kitchen staff, collaborates with program and fiscal teams, manages bulk food ordering and inventory, and ensures meals meet Head Start, ECEAP, Washington State, USDA, and CACFP requirements. The position requires ServSafe Manager Certification within 60 days of hire, knowledge of food safety and USDA requirements, at least three years of cooking experience for 25 or more people, and two years of progressive kitchen experience; program or kitchen management experience is preferred. It is a 30-hour-per-week, 48-week-per-year role paying $23.95 per hour, with medical and dental coverage, life insurance, retirement matching, paid holidays, PTO, and other benefits.
