Description
The Foodservice Chef Instructor will provide classroom and hands-on culinary and food-service training to inmates at Swannanoa Correctional Center for Women. The role includes developing a structured classroom, planning menus and inventory, maintaining food-safety and regulatory compliance, communicating with correctional staff, preparing student records, and preparing students for the NOCTI Culinary Arts Prep Cook assessment. The position is an adjunct contract with a variable schedule of approximately 22.5 hours per week and pays $26.00–$31.00 per contact hour.
