Description
Ford Motor Company is hiring a Body Exterior Engineer to lead the design, release, and delivery of body exterior components and systems for Ford Performance and Ford Racing. The role manages quality, cost, weight, function, and timing; coordinates purchasing, suppliers, and program milestones; supports CAE analysis, testing, prototype and launch builds, issue resolution, and cost optimization; and interfaces with the core body exterior engineering organization. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical or equivalent engineering, at least two years of body exterior design and release experience including one completed program, CAD or visualization experience, and familiarity with Ford's engineering tools. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence four or more days per week, and offers salary grades ranging from $74,300 to $166,200 depending on experience and scope.
