Description
The California ISO is hiring a Forecast Model Analyst to research, develop, implement, monitor, and improve forecasting models for short-term load, wind, solar, weather, and uncertainty. The role uses statistical methods, machine learning, artificial intelligence, numerical weather prediction, and large-scale data analytics; develops automated workflows and probabilistic forecasting tools; validates and integrates operational data; and supports production deployment and ongoing model performance monitoring. The position is hybrid, requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field plus two or more years of related experience, and pays $45.11 to $63.16 per hour.
