Description
The FAA Senior International Affairs Officer serves as the top agency focal point for US civil aviation policies, practices, and procedures in the Asia Pacific region. The role coordinates aviation-related activities with US Government agencies, industry, foreign civil aviation authorities, and international organizations; develops international strategy and bilateral arrangements; supports FAA decision-making through analysis and intelligence; and supervises local foreign service employees. The position requires US citizenship, at least one year of specialized aviation-related experience equivalent to FV-J or GS-14, relevant education or an alternative four-year experience path, and 50% domestic and international travel.
