Description
CLOVEHITCH is hiring an entry-level, on-site Foreign Language Interpreter as an independent contractor to provide professional in-person interpretation between client staff and limited-English-proficiency clients across the Hawaiian Islands. The role requires working proficiency in English and a target language, including vocabulary in health, legal, and social services domains, and may involve languages such as Ilocano, Japanese, Tagalog, Korean, Cantonese, Spanish, Vietnamese, and others. Work is assigned on an on-demand, as-needed basis, 365 days per year, 7 days per week, with travel to neighboring islands possible. The position requires U.S. work authorization without sponsorship and does not provide employment benefits.
