Description
The Barge Foreman leads and participates in the construction, maintenance, and repair of seawalls and marine structures. The role oversees a crew, provides on-site leadership and training, coordinates project resources, operates heavy equipment such as barges, cranes, excavators, and skid loaders, performs hands-on marine construction and equipment maintenance, and ensures compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and OSHA/EPA regulations. A high school diploma is required, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and at least three years of related heavy-construction experience is required.
