Description
The role is a heavy-civil construction formwork carpenter who builds and places formwork for walls and slabs, inspects equipment and rigging, reads shop drawings, schedules concrete pours, maintains a safe and organized site, conducts toolbox talks, and coaches crews. The position requires 5–10 years of heavy-civil construction experience, previous heavy-civil carpentry and crew-leading experience, the ability to operate heavy and hand tools, and physical ability to work 8–12-hour shifts in varied indoor and outdoor conditions. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while surveying experience is a plus.
