Description
Murray Logan Construction is seeking a Foreman-Carpenter to supervise carpentry crews and perform skilled carpentry work on heavy civil and marine construction projects. The role includes interpreting construction documents, installing and maintaining building frameworks and fixtures, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors, inspecting sites, managing materials and equipment, maintaining records, training crew members, enforcing safety standards, and helping keep projects on schedule and within budget. A high school diploma or GED and at least five years of carpentry experience are required; supervisory experience is preferred, along with blueprint-reading, tool proficiency, OSHA knowledge, and a valid driver's license.
