Description
The Heavy Duty Truck Maintenance Technician performs comprehensive repair, diagnosis, preventive maintenance, reconditioning, and documentation of tractor-trailer and related equipment. The role covers diesel engines, powertrain, electrical, HVAC, braking, suspension, aftertreatment, welding, diagnostic software, and DOT-compliant inspections, while also mentoring other technicians and supporting fleet analyses. Candidates need four years of tractor-trailer maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, DOT and brake inspector certifications, OEM training, ASE or 608/609 certifications preferred, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work unsupervised in non-climate-controlled conditions. The position pays up to $40.46 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.
