Description
The Structured Cabling Onsite Forman leads and supervises skilled infrastructure and structured-cabling work, including installation, service, maintenance, repair, and alteration of low-voltage category cabling, fiber-optic cabling, communications cabling, and related systems. The role performs physical installations, coordinates materials and project planning, represents the client, ensures quality and safety, manages project milestones and test plans, and completes closeout deliverables. Candidates must be able to install, terminate, and test low-voltage and fiber-optic cables; work with cable pathways and through-wall penetration systems; read blueprints; lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and work from heights.
