Description
The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is hiring an internal Forensic Accountant for its Elder Abuse Multidisciplinary Team within the Economic Crimes and Wage Theft Division. The role supports financial investigations, prepares financial summaries and trial exhibits, coordinates with law enforcement and prosecutors, and may require court testimony. It is based in Seattle at the King County Courthouse, offers a hybrid schedule, and pays $63.00–$67.09 hourly depending on step. Applicants must be current PAO employees who have completed and passed a six-month probation period, hold a minimum four-year degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, have at least three years of forensic accounting experience focused on fraud-related investigations, and possess CFE certification or be in the process of obtaining CFE credentials.
