Description
The Ohio Auditor of State’s Special Investigations Unit is hiring one Forensic Auditor to conduct fieldwork for fraud and corruption investigations across the East Region. The role involves understanding client internal controls and financial procedures, applying forensic audit techniques, detecting fraud, preparing audit summaries and findings, and covering investigations in the assigned geographic quadrant. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field, at least three years of external audit experience, and a valid Ohio driver’s license; governmental financial accounting, fraud examination, and CPA or Certified Fraud Examiner certification are preferred or advantageous.
