Description
The Forensic Interviewer conducts forensic interviews with children ages 3–17 and vulnerable adults alleging sexual or physical abuse, felony neglect, or witness to a violent crime. The role includes receiving and scheduling interviews, coordinating with Multidisciplinary Team members, assessing child safety, documenting cases, providing expert or fact witness testimony, and participating in peer review and training. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in a related field or at least two years of child abuse maltreatment experience, a Child First Mississippi Forensic Interviewing Court Preparation Training Certificate, and strong communication and organizational skills. Compensation is $44,000 per year with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
