Description
The Foreperson reports to the Site Superintendent and supervises trade partners and subcontractors on construction projects. Responsibilities include managing workforce, equipment, materials, schedules, sequencing, project records, safety and environmental procedures, and relationships with clients, consultants, and employees. The role requires Journeyperson Carpentry certification, prior lead-hand or foreperson experience, knowledge of Alberta building and safety codes, blueprint reading, and a valid driver’s license; it is physically demanding and may require travel and extended time away from home.
