The role involves monitoring logging operations, coordinating permits and notifications, evaluating timber sales, cruising and pricing tracts, supporting sustainable forest management, and ensuring compliance with Louisiana forestry best management practices. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Forestry, field and office capability, knowledge of timber inventory and regional tree species, GPS and Microsoft Excel skills, strong communication and organizational abilities, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to work outdoors and travel to forest and logging sites.
