Description
CCI is hiring a Forestry Field Assistant to support forestry fieldwork including line locating, timber cruising and investigations, cutblock and road layout, riparian and ecosystem assessments, data collection and entry, and ad hoc supervisor assistance. The role is primarily field-based with travel and out-of-town work, generally Monday through Friday from home, and requires an OFA Level 1, outdoor skills, fitness, a valid British Columbia driver’s license, and willingness to work extended shifts and adverse weather. Compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour depending on experience, with health and benefits, RRSP matching, field-gear allowance, professional development, and travel support.
