Description

ELLWOOD Texas Forge Navasota is hiring a Forge Operator for its DG80 Complex or Hammer Shop. The role works as part of a forge crew to heat, preform, forge, trim, inspect, and move steel parts; rotate through scale blowing, die lubrication, tong operation, and forging-hammer operation; and assist with equipment setup, die changes, material handling, quality checks, and production documentation. The position is highly physical and requires working in a hot, loud heavy-manufacturing environment, with flexible shifts including a biweekly rotating schedule. A high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant heavy-manufacturing experience are required, while forging, forklift, mobile-equipment, high-temperature manufacturing, impact-wrench, or industrial-tool experience is preferred. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on day one.
