Description
Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota is hiring a Forge Operator for the DG80 Complex or Hammer Shop. The role works as part of a forge crew to heat, preform, forge, trim, inspect, and move steel parts; rotate through scale blowing, die lubrication, tong operation, and forging-hammer operation; and assist with equipment setup, die changes, material handling, quality checks, and production documentation. The position is highly physical and requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of heavy-manufacturing or similar experience, and the ability to work safely around heated steel, heavy machinery, and loud, hot conditions. The schedule includes assigned shifts, including a biweekly rotating schedule, with starting pay of $19.00 per hour and medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on day one.
