Description
The Setter Operator will set and operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances, support slitting and shot blasting production, use gauges and measuring equipment, maintain quality and EHS procedures, keep records and SPC charts, and participate in continuous improvement. The role is based at Meridian Business Park in Leicester, runs Monday to Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and pays £15.85 per hour inclusive of a 15% shift allowance, with £17.61 per hour including the allowance. Previous hot forging experience is preferred, while hot press, slitter, and shot blasting experience is required.
