Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, documents, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and dollies, and may assist with shipping preparation, dock coordination, problem resolution, and mentoring Material Handlers. It pays $19.00-$20.00 per hour and runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with possible nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. A valid forklift certification or ability to obtain it before operating equipment and at least three years of dock or warehouse experience are required.
