Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and dollies; prepares items for shipping; documents freight; identifies damaged or unsafe conditions; and supports dock productivity and workflow coordination. The operator may mentor Material Handlers, coordinate task assignments, and occasionally lead without direct supervisory responsibility. The position pays $21.00 per hour and follows a Monday and Tuesday–Friday schedule with night, weekend, holiday, and overtime work as needed.
