The Forklift Operator I at the river terminal operates up to a 16,000-pound forklift and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, transport, secure, and store cargo. The role also involves assisting with vessel, truck, and rail-car operations, monitoring barge and crane activities, performing equipment checks, maintaining safe work areas, tracking inventory, and completing general labor tasks. A high school diploma or equivalent and certification are required; prior warehouse, dock, or terminal experience is a plus. The position pays $26.00 per hour and may require shift work, outdoor work in varying weather, and physical lifting and movement.
