Description
The Forklift Operator loads, unloads, stages, scans, and moves freight in a multimodal transportation terminal, intermodal yard, warehouse, or dock environment. The role uses forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment; documents freight; coordinates dock operations; and supports workflow, safety, and productivity. The position pays $19.86 per hour and runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with additional nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. It requires forklift certification, at least three years of dock or warehouse experience, English communication, basic arithmetic, scanning and computer-system skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.
