Description
The Formwork Foreman will lead formwork carpenters on large construction projects, including schools, residential care centers, public buildings, bridges, and tunnels. Responsibilities include reading plans and working drawings, coordinating the team, making molds, assembling and joining formwork, pouring concrete, removing formwork, reinforcing concrete with rebar, and assembling prefabricated metal formwork elements. The role requires prior formwork carpenter experience, team leadership, safety awareness, flexibility, and the ability to drive the van and collect colleagues. It is a full-time permanent contract after a successful temporary period, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule, benefits under the PC124 collective labor agreement, and travel and commuting allowances.
