Banyan Software is hiring a Forward Deployed AI Engineer in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, working hybrid three days per week in the office. The role embeds with business teams, identifies high-value AI opportunities, and builds or evaluates AI-native tools using LLMs, retrieval systems, agentic workflows, automation platforms, and AWS. Responsibilities include translating business problems into technical requirements, making build-versus-buy decisions, measuring ROI, and driving adoption. Candidates need 6–10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years hands-on with AI or AI-enabled applications, a bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, or technical field, and experience shipping production AI tools. The expected base salary is CAD 145,000–170,000, excluding annual bonus and equity.
