Description
Turing is hiring a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer in New York City for an in-office, three-to-five-days-per-week placement. The role begins with an eight-week Turing Akademia training program and then places successful candidates on live enterprise AI client projects. Responsibilities include discovering customer problems, architecting and building production AI systems, working with senior client leaders, and owning outcomes through deployment, evaluation, observability, security, reliability, latency, scalability, and cost. Candidates should have at least five years of full-stack or software engineering experience, with production systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and software development practices; prior AI, LLM, RAG, or agentic-systems experience is helpful but not required. Compensation is $170,000–$210,000 base salary plus equity.
