Description
E Source is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer, AI/ML to embed with utility clients and own end-to-end engagements from technical discovery through architecture, production deployment, adoption, and post-go-live support. The role focuses on building generative AI and machine learning systems, including retrieval-augmented generation, agent frameworks, evaluation, monitoring, grounding, and operator-facing applications, while managing scope, risk, and stakeholder expectations. The position is remote-based with significant travel to client sites, generally 30 to 50%, and requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of engineering experience, strong Python and cloud/AI/ML capabilities, and authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
