Description
Orbital Industries is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver its CurieOS AI software platform into customer environments. The role involves hands-on production software development, architecture design, integrations, debugging, customer engagement, workflow evaluation, deployment, adoption, and KPI tracking across industrial research and development. The engineer will work with scientists and engineers, translate ambiguous R&D problems into working systems, codify reusable patterns, and provide field signal to the platform engineering team. Prior chemistry, materials, or engineering experience is not required, but strong software engineering fundamentals, production software experience, and adaptability in fast-moving environments are sought.
