CROZ is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer - AI to work as a business technology consultant who understands customer business needs and builds, deploys, and owns AI software in production. The role covers end-to-end deployments from discovery and scoping through architecture, build, and rollout, with on-premises or cloud systems, often in regulated environments involving legacy systems and complex processes. Candidates need a solid engineering background, at least two years of software engineering or machine learning experience, production-grade Python, experience deploying software with LLM or ML components such as RAG systems or agents, strong customer-facing communication, and fluency in German and English at C1 level. The position offers up to €80,000, benefits including occupational pension, childcare subsidy, and flexible working hours, and requires EU citizenship.
