Description
AWS is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic enterprise customers and design, build, deploy, and operate AI-powered production systems. The role leads technical strategy and architecture across complex customer engagements, owns production reliability and operational standards, scales engineering patterns and hiring, and accelerates customer AI adoption. Candidates need at least five years of professional software development, architecture, and leadership experience, an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and experience with AI tools; AWS experience and enterprise-scale AI/ML deployment are preferred. The position requires up to 25% travel and offers base salaries of $168,100–$227,400 USD annually in Denver, Arlington, and Seattle, and $184,900–$250,200 USD annually in New York.
