Appen is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise clients on GenAI data solutions. The role owns final data quality, defines requirements and annotation guidelines, builds scalable validation and automation pipelines, and contributes reusable quality frameworks. Candidates need experience with GenAI, machine learning, model evaluation, data pipelines, workflow automation, and client-facing data-quality ownership. The full-time role offers $150,000–$200,000 USD annually in base salary and performance-based incentives, plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off benefits.
