Description
Avra is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work embedded with clients and deploy AI-powered solutions for credit and risk, customer acquisition, and fraud. The role involves understanding decision workflows and data infrastructure, assessing data quality, translating business requirements into technical specifications, building and deploying models, communicating with executives and operational teams, and feeding real-world feedback into product and engineering. Candidates need a statistics, econometrics, or data science background, at least five years of hands-on experience solving business problems with data, Python and SQL proficiency, API and basic software engineering knowledge, and experience with experimentation and causal inference. The position is hybrid in São Paulo, with in-person time at customer sites.
