Description

Datavations is hiring a Data Product Engineer to manage client relationships, support implementations, coordinate account and engineering teams, and build and scale data products from data aggregation through product delivery. The role requires SQL or Python expertise, data visualization, analytics, data modeling, and familiarity with data warehousing; preferred locations include New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Cincinnati, and Minneapolis. Compensation is $130,000–$170,000 annually, with possible equity, performance bonuses, and benefits.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on experience with SQL or Python
Experience building end-to-end data products
Experience driving actionable insights from alternative data sources
Experience working with retail or consumer data
Experience scaling BI infrastructure to 10TB+ data ingestion
Preferred Qualifications: Experience building, deploying, and maintaining dimensional data models with dbt
Familiarity with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or ClickHouse
Deep knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, including data storytelling
Understanding of time-series statistical methods for outlier detection
