emergiTEL is hiring a permanent Forward Deployed Engineer for a software client in Toronto, Canada. The role partners with portfolio companies to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and agentic software, builds and deploys production-grade systems, designs integrations and workflows, supports client implementations, and ensures successful transition to operational teams. The engineer will work on-site with portfolio companies 2–3 days per week as needed and travel to support implementations. The position requires 3–6 years of relevant engineering experience, strong full-stack and AI software capabilities, and proficiency in TypeScript, Python, React, SQL, and related technologies.
