Description
Handoff is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end technical delivery for 2–3 enterprise construction accounts. The role customizes estimating, takeoff, and reporting deliverables; automates intake and delivery workflows; exposes and documents APIs; maps estimate line items to supplier catalogs; assesses POS/ERP integration paths; leads calibration reviews; and provides first-line support and maintenance. The engineer will partner with a Construction Account Manager, work directly with client engineering and estimating teams, and own technical delivery from pilot through production. The role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, full-stack Node.js, Python, and SQL skills, API experience, strong client-facing communication, and B2+ English; exposure to LLM/AI applications or residential construction estimating is a bonus.
