HealthLeap is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and operate hospital integrations, connect to record systems, debug APIs and data mappings, and develop customer-facing tools or analytics. The role works with hospital IT and clinical teams, turns recurring requests into reusable connectors and product features, and uses Python and TypeScript. It requires at least five years of production software experience, strong backend, API, data modeling, and SQL skills, and experience launching complex third-party integrations. The position is based in San Francisco, in person by default with flexibility to work from home when needed, and offers a $200,000–$275,000 base salary plus equity and healthcare benefits.
