Kalepa is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with insurance customers, integrating Kalepa’s software into their systems and delivering customer-facing solutions. The role combines relationship building, hands-on software development, analytics, strategy, system design, debugging, and problem-solving. It requires at least four years of software engineering experience, Python, serverless and cloud technologies, asynchronous workflows, relational databases, and ideally PostgreSQL; LLM and distributed-systems experience are bonuses. The position offers a $185,000–$255,000 USD salary range, equity, medical, vision, and dental coverage, and other benefits.
