Description
Kong is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its Professional Services organization and work directly with enterprise customers on hands-on implementation, automation, migration, and production-grade solutions for API and AI connectivity platforms. The role involves building and deploying Kong-based solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments; developing automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure tooling; collaborating with customer engineering and executive teams; and influencing Kong’s product roadmap. Candidates should have at least eight years of customer-facing engineering or related experience, strong software engineering and cloud-native expertise, and experience with API management, Kubernetes, major cloud providers, programming, and infrastructure automation.
