Description
Kong is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its Professional Services organization and work directly with enterprise customers on hands-on implementation, automation, migration, and production-grade solutions for API and AI connectivity platforms. The role involves building Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure, migration tooling, CI/CD integrations, plugins, and reusable accelerators while collaborating with customer teams and Kong’s product and engineering organizations. Candidates should have at least eight years of customer-facing engineering or related experience, strong software engineering and platform engineering skills, and expertise with API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, automation, and major cloud providers.
