Magentic is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success for enterprise manufacturing supply-chain and procurement clients. The role involves building relationships with flagship clients, analysing large unstructured data sets, translating ambiguous requirements into product specifications, demonstrating and training customers, and shaping the product roadmap. Candidates should be proficient in Python and SQL, have at least two years of professional experience, be able to extract insights from messy data, communicate with engineers and business stakeholders, travel regularly, and be enthusiastic about AI. The position is based in London with a hybrid arrangement requiring four days in the office or customer site, and offers a salary of £50,000–£65,000 plus equity and other benefits.
