Description
The Senior AI/ML Engineer serves as a senior Forward Deployed Engineer and accountable technical lead supporting one or more Federal Agencies. The role translates ambiguous mission needs into secure, usable, accessible, and Government-owned AI capabilities, leading AI solution discovery, architecture, engineering, deployment, operations, evaluation, security testing, compliance documentation, and stakeholder advisory. Responsibilities include MLOps/LLMOps, AI assurance, adversarial testing, human-in-the-loop controls, production-ready artifacts, and coordination with Federal Agency CIO/OCIO, security, governance, cloud, architecture, privacy, accessibility, legal, records, and other Government stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least seven years of relevant AI/ML, software, cloud, enterprise architecture, or data engineering experience, at least two years of production AI experience, and verifiable evidence of an AI/ML credential.
