Description
Sand is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work embedded with customers in real-world environments, identify high-value problems, build and deploy AI products and applications, and translate customer outcomes into reusable platform capabilities. The role combines technical execution, product discovery, customer partnership, and commercial awareness, with responsibilities spanning data pipelines, APIs, cloud environments, machine learning, AI agents, and production deployment. Candidates should have 3–5+ years of experience in a data science, data engineering, machine learning, software engineering, or similarly technical role, along with strong programming, customer-facing, and product-deployment experience.
