Description
Sia is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge AI engineering and change management for clients. The role analyzes business needs, designs and deploys LLM-based systems such as autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces, integrates them with existing systems, supports adoption through training and iteration, and translates technical complexity into business value. The engineer will also contribute to generative AI research, firm offerings, publications, and business development. The position requires an engineering degree or equivalent training, production LLM experience, Python and applied AI framework proficiency, API integration, cloud deployment, and strong client-facing communication. Compensation is $130,600–$147,000 base salary plus an annual performance bonus, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits. The role is primarily based in a Sia office or approved coworking location at least three days per week, with client engagements requiring onsite work, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
