Sphere is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers and translate complex cross-border tax and regulatory requirements into custom software solutions. The role covers customer onboarding, billing integrations, tax-liability reporting, VAT and regional compliance guidance, research of emerging requirements, technical PRDs, and custom platform features and integrations. It is intended for an end-to-end customer-facing engineer who owns problems from discovery through deployment, works closely with customers and internal teams, and is based in San Francisco.
