TEKsystems is hiring an AI Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer for a 12-month contract-to-hire, hybrid role based in Sunnyvale, California. The position focuses on partnering with business and product stakeholders to identify enterprise AI opportunities, translate ambiguous business challenges into production-ready solutions, build AI agents and agentic workflows, and drive adoption and measurable outcomes. Required experience includes production AI application development, AI agent development, LLMs, agent architectures, prompt and context engineering, Python, software architecture, and stakeholder collaboration. Preferred experience includes multi-agent systems, RAG, vector databases, workflow automation, cloud platforms, and enterprise-scale environments. The role pays $80.00-$85.00 per hour and is anticipated to close on October 2, 2026.
